Who has been trying more new recipes? Me! Might I recommend Spicy Honey Chicken Salad (Super yummy with mango and romaine lettuce! We weren't completely sold on the Honey-Citrus Vinaigrette the website recommends. We just used some extra glaze as our dressing.) , Baked Zucchini Fries, and Creamy Chicken and Bacon Pastry Pockets. (All from Our Best Bites. Told you I love that website!) I'm also excited to try Cake Batter Truffles and Eclair Sheet Cake. (Sorry, I don't know how to make my links open on a separate tab.)
What is Kory's goal for this month and next? LANDSCAPING! We've been getting quotes and saving our money so hopefully we will have grass, flowers beds and our garden in soon!
When is my sister coming? Saturday!! So excited to see her!
Where do we wish we were? In Fiji, with the in-laws, staying here. A tree-house hotel!! We are extremely jealous of Kory's parents fun trip without us. Kory said he'll take me...in 40 years! Isn't he nice?!
How do we know it's getting warmer? Despite the fact that it snowed last week, the wind has been out of control and rain is in the forecast for most of this week, our heat bill this month was $20 less than last month! Plus, Kory is golfing right now so obviously it's warming up!
