Lunch Time

Did you know eating a peanut butter sandwich, with a fork no less, could be this messy?? Hardly a clean moment with this boy!

Quack Quack

Bowen was the cutest little duck you ever will see for Halloween.

He was not so smiley for his photo shoot (and half of the pictures turned out like this)

but he charmed his grandparents and Aunt Staci and came home with a bucket of candy!

Baseball Game and Petting Zoo

Bowen went to his first baseball game earlier this summer. He wasn't too interested in the game. Luckily there was a small field for him to run around for most of the game. Heaven forbid the boy have to sit still ;)

We decided to take Bowen to the fair this year. We went in the late afternoon to avoid crowds it turned out to be perfect! I think Bowen's favorite part was the petting zoo, though he did enjoy some scones and honey butter too! (Gotta give him some fair food!)
He was a bit apprehensive at first, but then quite proud of himself for giving the goat some hay.

Triathlon

This one time, Kory did a triathlon. He's crazy amazing! It was a 1 mile swim, 30 mile bike and 6 mile run. Like I said, CRAZY. But he finished in 3:47:07, so amazing!

First he swam.

 Then he biked.

 Bowen tried to follow.
Last, he ran.

Meanwhile, Bowen got bored. He went around making lots of friends, human and dog alike! Later, he got tired and decided this was the most comfortable way to sit in a chair.

 Finish Line!!

Workin' Out

I don't think I ever posted this video. And it's old (like from March) but way too funny not to share! (He still does this but it's cuter when he's littler. Bowen did push ups before he learned to walk!)

Allen's in Idaho

My parents and Jason finally decided to come check out Idaho in the summer (usually they come for the snowboarding)! I think we might have them convinced that our summer weather is better than Arizona summer weather (and Idaho winter weather). I didn't get many pictures of my parents or Jason but of course while they were here it was a good excuse to get some pictures of Bowen!

Jason, Kory and I went zip lining at Heise.

We all went swimming up in Rexburg. Bowen is not so much a fan of smiling AT the camera.

We went whitewater rafting. Kory was our guide. The only casualties: two pairs of sunglasses, one hat and one paddle. I'd say that's a success. No pictures ON the raft trip though. My bad.
Kory and Jason went fly fishing. I think they caught some fish?!!

And we hadn't worn ourselves out with all of that, so we went bowling too!

Loved having them here! Come back SOON!
