Weekend

This weekend was Kory's Grandma Sibbett's funeral. Her funeral was very nice; memories were shared, funny stories were told and testimonies were born.

She was the youngest of 14 children.
She worked for the telephone company which is now Qwest.
She survived a heart attack in her late 20's.
She loved painting ceramics.
She enjoyed coaching/watching her kids and grandkids play sports.
She was a night owl. Even known to call her kids (after they were married and moved out) at 2am to see what they were up to.
She loved to play card games and never cheated ;)
She was a democrat.
One funny story that was told...A friend of Grandma's recently asked her how her and her family were doing. She looked her friend straight in the eye and said, "I feel like I have failed as a mother." Grandma's son overheard this and was curious to see why she felt this way. She continued, "All I've raised is a bunch of Republicans!"
Anyone who knew Grandma could testify that she was quick to tell you exactly what she thought about any subject.
At the funeral, each of her children thanked their mom for raising them in the gospel and always being quick to forgive and love them.
