Did I Mention...

We got a calling. We've had it for a few months now, but I don't think I ever wrote about it. Kory and I are serving in the nursery! (One of THREE nurseries in our ward!) I guess that's what happens when you move into a young ward and don't have kids yet.

We have between 5-8 kids every Sunday and usually they are great...but this last Sunday they were on one. (And I kept thinking, Great! It's not even the Halloween weekend yet!) They were running circles around me, yelling "TAG, you're it" (but not really playing tag) and turning on and off the lights (because someone put the light switch low enough that the nursery kids can reach). Lovely! But really, it was just an odd week because usually they are happy and relatively quiet and content playing with the toys.

I object to people without kids having callings in nursery. How does that inspire you to have children!? I taught CTR 6 and now the thought of having kids is not appealing. Not that I would ever actually have eight 6 year olds at the same time in my own family, but still...bad bad idea!

Haha, we are in nursery too! They can be crazy, but I'm so glad they put us in there because now I at least have some clue of how to deal with toddlers. And they have their sweet moments. :) And think of it this way - when you have your own, it's got to be a lot easier with one instead of eight!
