Kory planted us this cute little "garden." We are growing jalapenos, tomatoes and yellow peppers (for our homemade salsa!) Eventually we will have to move the plants over to his parents real/outdoor garden, but Kory is definitely enjoying growing stuff right in our little apartment. He looks at his garden 1-2 times everyday for 15-20 minutes!! Not even joking.Our conversation about the "garden" a few nights ago...
Kory: Did you know plants grow faster if you talk to them?
Me: Right. OK.
K: Do you know why?
Me: Why?
K: Because they need carbon dioxide.
Me: Oh, so you could just breath next to them and it would have the same effect?
K: Yeah, I guess. But that's not as fun.
Me: Please don't talk to your plants.
K: Can I sing to them?
Me: hahahhaha Whatever.
*I go in the other room and soon hear Kory singing...

He's a keeper! Someone who can keep you laughing...and eating homemade salsa is definately a keeper!
what a great idea! homemade salsa is the best. if i wasn't such a plant killer, i would want one.. i'm sad you're not coming down here, i haven't seen yous since the open house!
